Announcing the BHA Central Zone Archery Championship
The Tuscaloosa County Bowhunters, a Chapter of Bowhunters of Alabama, Inc. will host the BHA Central Zone Championship on June 6 & 7 at the Archery Park located at the Faucett Brothers Activity Center, located at 13040 Eugenia Faucett Dr. just off Rose Blvd. in Northport (just follow the signs).
Archers are welcome to join Bowhunters of Alabama, Inc. to support archery and bowhunting in Alabama. BHA promotes, supports and protects bowhunting rights in our state as well as providing archery events in counties across Alabama. Bowhunters of Alabama Chapters support 3-D archery competition (over 50 this year),organize charity events (BOW-UP for Breast Cancer shoot in Cullman, June 13 &14), created BOWMANIA! (the largest indoor 3-D shoot each year in Alabama in July at the Birmingham BJCC), and other events and commitments to archery and bowhunting .
The Central Zone Championship is for all archers and bowhunters that want to compete or just to have fun and enjoy the flight of an arrow. Archers from across Alabama, pro and amateur are welcome.
Archery equipment will be available to teach first-time shooters the fundamentals of archery. Kids and family are welcome to attend.
Food and drinks will be available from our BBQ team, Coupe de Grill.
The range will consist of 25 3-D animal targets. Archery Shooters Association (ASA) rules will apply. Chapter members will be on hand to help with class selection for beginner archers. Competitors may shoot either day or both days. First round scores count in competition, but archers are welcome to shoot multiple rounds. A Novelty Shoot will also be available for archers wishing to test their skill.
Shooters may sign up between 8:00a.m. and 3:00p.m. each day. Classes with five shooters or more will have cash payouts for places and the younger classes will have awards.
Bowhunters of Alabama Chapters are family oriented organizations. We support family and outdoor activities. Tuscaloosa County Bowhunters and PARA invite you to enjoy the Archery Park and become members.
Join the fun this weekend and bring the whole family!
SEE YOU THERE!!Laugh
