It’s funny how all of this sort of worked out this way, but, yes, 3 weeks in a row, we’ll be at Marshall!…..Laugh April 4th, for one day only, will be a statewide AS3dA competition! There will be a 10:00am shotgun start. So, everyone get there early to get registered, and be ready to shoot at 10am! We’re looking for 20 or more high schools from all over the state to compete for various “bragging rights”! And, to make it even better, everyone is invited! The proceeds will go to benefit New Hope HS’s AS3dA Team, and they’ll have refreshments available as well. It’s gonna be a BLAST having all of these young people making us “Ole Veterans” look bad! Everyone come on out to support our future!

Oh, to be young again…….To watch these young high school archers tearing up & down these hills, barely panting for breath! Watching a group shoot at a target, and when the last one fires, ALL of them running (literally) to the target to see how well, they scored……I’m thinkin’ “Yeah, if dat wuz me runnin’ to that target, sumbody be callin’ 9-1-1!” “Right! Me run up that hill?!?!?? “There’d better be a gurney wid sum oxygen when I git there!” Yep, watchin’ these kids tickles the fire outta me! So, if you’ll excuse me, I’m gonna go take my Geritol ‘n see if’n I can get some fire back in me!

Can’t wait til tomorrow! See yuns there!
