All,

Chester brought it to my attention this fine Independence Day that there may be a little confusion surrounding the location of the 2017 North Zone SOTY tournament scheduled for this weekend. Much thanks and appreciation to Chester for bringing this to our attention. The tournament location is

Oak Mountain State Park
Oak Mountain State Park Rd
Pelham, AL 35124

The tournament is being hosted by St. Clair County.

This is going to be a great tournament, and preparations on the range started yesterday. We have set an awesome 25 target range with mostly brand new targets acquired over the last 2 seasons. We are looking forward to a great shoot.

There will be a Novelty Shoot – SHOOT FOR THE MONEY – It will be a 50/50 money shoot just like we have had at our last two tournaments. The winners of the money shoot the last two times have walked ways with over $140.00 each. So come on down and shoot for some cash.

We will also have several targets for sale. Please visit our Facebook Page for pictures of the targets. Please call Chris Vainrib at 281.300.0941 for any questions or if you would like to make arrangements for pre sales of any target(s).

We look forward to seeing everyone out at Oak Mountain State Park for 2017 NZ SOTY Tournament this Saturday and Sunday July 8-9, 2017 and apologize on advance for any confusion.

The following users say thank you to James Vainrib for this useful post:

Are archers invited to shoot the range without shooting or participating in the BHA Trail shoot.
Some archers would just like to have a day of enjoying archery without competing…possibly prospective NEW members for BHA.
If so, what is the entry fee for shooting the targets?
