Important Information for BHA State Championship – PLEASE READ ALL INFORMATION BELOW – Contact Mike 205-296-3775 or Charmen 205-296-3773 if you have questions.
BHA State – August 7 – One Day Only – First Cards out at 7 am and last cards out at 11 am. Shooter of the Year Peer Groups have been posted on our Facebook page and the BHA website.
You do not have to be in a Peer Group to shoot the State. Peer Groups are for SOY only. If you can’t shoot with your Peer Group you can still shoot State but will not be eligible for SOY.
Anyone can shoot State but You do have to be a BHA member to shoot but you can pay your membership that day. Membership is $20 for Single and $30 for Family – Membership expires on January 31 each year.
Cost to shoot is $30 for payout classes, $10 for non-payout classes, Fun rounds $20. Cash or check only.
Registration will be under the pavilion.
Please warm up BEFORE you come to registration. Once you are at registration you should be ready to go shoot. This will help tremendously on range flow.
Long Range – 40 yard classes and up will shoot on our regular range we normally use.
Short Range – 30 yard classes and under will shoot just off the driving range. There is parking available at the driving range. The driving range is the next left past our entrance to the Archery Park. It is just across the road from the Golf Course Clubhouse.
*You MUST wear closed toed shoes on both ranges. Ground is uneven.
*Some lanes are close – ASA shooting and pulling standards will be in effect. (Lanes will Shoot together and Pull together)
*Be mindful that there may be archers on lanes next to you that are shooting at a closer distance. Please use courtesy and work together for shooting/pulling safety.
*Restrooms are available at the pavilion and a Port-A-Pot will be on the driving range.
Water will be free on both ranges. Can Drinks will be $1ea.
Lunch menu – Subway sandwich, Chips and Drink $5.
Some snacks will also be available for $1.
All awards will be given out at the BHA State Banquet, August 7, 7pm at the Hanceville Civic Center, 902 Commercial St, Hanceville, AL 35077. Cost for the Banquet is $20 per person. Includes dinner and door prize ticket. Menu is BBQ pork/chicken, potato salad, baked beans, dessert and drink. The banquet is open to family and friends at the same price. Additional door prize tickets will be $5 each or 5 tickets for $20.
