I want to congratulate the loyal BHA Northern Zone archers for supporting their Zone shoots! You guys and gals have the very spirit of archery and “want to” to support your Chapters. Each week I look at the posted scores and am amazed at the turnout for all of your Chapters.
The Central Zone started the year with a “bang” with a very successful shoot at Shelby (and the weekend was perfect). The “bang” began to sputter for the Central Zone. Please don’t read into this as a “sour grape” post by a Central Zone member, but an absolute fact that over the past few years the Northern Zone has shown more support for their Chapters on a regular basis than any other.
Whatever the reason for the loyalty of your shooters and members you deserve to be recognized. Your Chapters will thrive because of BHA members that recognize the importance of supporting their home Chapter and supporting their Zone Chapters with their attendance, their involvement and work.
If you have the secret, a special potion that you use or other device…..please share it with the other two Zones. Remember, we have three Zones but only one BHA and we all need to support each other for bowhunting and archery to grow in Alabama.

I want to also thank all of the faithful members in each Zone and each Chapter for help with shoots, from set-up to take-down, and everything in between. YOU are appreciated!
