Hi guys. Where can I get more information on the 2014 State Championship in Alexander City? In particular:
– Do you need to qualify or just show up? If qualification is necessary, how & where do you go to qualify?
– Where in Alexander City will the shoot be held?
– How much does it cost to compete?
– What is the competition format?
Thanks in advance for your help guys.
Sincerely,
Charles

-Do not have to qualify, but you must be a BHA member
-Shoot will be held at the Charles E. Bailey Sportsplex 1842 Sportsplex Blvd Alexander City, AL 35010
-$20 to shoot the state shoot.
-You must be signed up to shoot by 10am sharp(DON’T BE LATE) groups will be assigned and sent out on the range after sign up.
-A pre-registration form will be posted on here as soon as I get all details confirmed for the ones who want to pre-register.

Thanks Chris. Can you tell me what the format for the BHA shoot will be? Is it a multi-round or single round? How many targets? Are there any special restrictions or rules for traditional shooters? I assume trad shooters have their own class? Btw, do you think there will be more traditional shooters competition at the BHA or ASA state championship? Sorry for the Spanish Inquisition

-Only 1 round to be shot
-25 targets setup on 2 ranges, you only shoot 1/ 25 target range
-check the BHA tournament rules for restrictions and clarification on equipment
-traditional shooters compete in their own class
-The BHA state shoot normally draws several traditional shooters

OK looking at the pre-registration I see that it will be $40 for trail shoot. Is that the case for youth class?
cubs, youth, and juniors shoot the trail free. Juniors pay $10 to shoot the state. Sorry for forgetting to add that on the form
