ASA State Shoot Information |2018 Tournament Schedules|Forum|Bow Hunters of Alabama

Ok everyone this weekend is the ASA state tournament, if you have qualified to shoot the shoot it will be on Saturday and Sunday August 28/29 , the cost is $30 for high school in that and 15 for middle school and under. If you have not qualified you can shoot it for fun, fun rounds are $20 if you did not qualify shoot times will be from 8am-2pm both days. If you are shooting for the shooter of the year the peer groups will be shot on Saturday morning. If you think you may have qualified for this shoot you need to go to Alabama ASA Federation page on Facebook and check out the shoot times.

We are going to try something different people have asked if they can shoot part of the range on Saturday and part on Sunday the answer is yes, BUT!!!! Here is how it will work at the ASA State hosted by Heritage Archery Club. We will have 3 different 10 target ranges out they will be name Range A B C if you want to shoot 1 or 2 of the ranges on Saturday and the 3rd range on Sunday you have to finish the range you start. For example if you start on range B and finish B and start on C you have to finish C before you leave, you can not stop 1/2 through the range because it will cause problems on how we start groups on Sunday. Your card has to be turned back into a Heritage team member on Saturday after you finish a range if you were going to shoot the other part Sunday. They will have them for you to pick up on Sunday before you finish up. If they do not get your card on Saturday afternoon, if you plan to finish on Sunday you will receive a DQ.
