The state NASP tournament will be April 4th in Montgomery this year at the Sportsplex at Crampton Bowl. Save the date! The 3D event wil have to be outdoors however, so it will most likely depend on the weather, unless we look into tent rental. Let me know if you plan to attend and if you want to work the 3D event, or would rather be a scorekeeper for the NASP part of the event. You will get a nice BBQ lunch this year and a T-shirt, so include your T-shirt size. Let me know your questions and thanks for all you do!

Marisa- Count me in, as usual. XXL will fit me if the diet has not kicked in…
Why the change from B’ham, where it was indoors?

The main competition will be indoors, but the move to Montgomery was a cost savings measure. The BJCC cost us $12,000 to rent and the Sportsplex is $5000. Also – since all of our equipment is here in Montgomery set up will be easier and also I can purc hase better food for the volunteers! Parking will also be better and free! There were too many pluses for Montgomery. I hate there is not room indoors for 3D, but maybe with any luck the weather will cooperate!!

Thanks for all you do!

To better serve the kids that want to shoot the 3D course, we need 10 scorekeepers (one for each lane) plus folks at the “sign up” table (at least three). not taking away from Marissa’s needs, the main tournament is first. Kids were in line 50 deep and we couldn’t run them thru fast enough last year due to not enough scorers, hope to let more kids experience 3D this year.
