In light of Cullman County’s cancellation of this weekend’s shoot, let me invite everyone to our chapter’s annual championship shoot. Note that this shoot has absolutely nothing to do with BHA as far as SOY Points, etc. We hold this shoot every year to give opportunity for club members to renew club memberships, officer elections, club business, etc. For every club membership renewal or new club membership, one will receive a door prize ticket, which will be drawn before we leave for the day. And, yes, you must be present to win! We have a new bow, treestands, grunt calls, practice targets, trail cameras and on and on. No, you don’t have to join Marshall County Bowhunters to shoot. Everyone is invited to come enjoy themselves! There’ll be food, drink, & a good time to be had by all!

Scoring rules for this shoot:
On the 20 target course, only 10’s & 8’s will score. (Outside the 8 line will get you a “0”) We’ll not give 5 points for a wounded animal! No rangefinders. With this scoring arrangement, we fully anticipate quite a few tie scores. We’ll have a 5 target “Pressure Cooker” shoot down after the course shoot, where 14’s, 12’s, 10’s, 8’s, & 5’s will be in play! We’ll shoot ’em down until a winner emerges! Oh, and by the way, only club membership, either new or renewed will be eligible to enter the shoot down. After all, this is the Marshall County Bowhunters 2016 Championship! Trophies & Bowhunter of The Year accolades are for club members only.
