The Autauga County bowhunters appreciate everyone that came out to shoot the 2nd leg of the SOYT shoot this weekend. We had about 170 shooters for the two day event. The weather was overcast yesterday but very nice today. We couldn’t have asked for much better weather or turnout.
The scores are listed below. We plan to mail out checks to the appropriate winners early next week. We want to allow time for individuals to check their scores for accuracy. We saved all scorecards and can easily verify if the listed scores are correct. We have a few items to get to the following individuals that were not present at the end to collect their prizes.
Anna Easterling – Rage toboggan style cap
David Lavecchia – Fuse string stop
David Adams – Trophy Ridge drop away rest
Celeste Lavecchia – Axium sidekick stabilizer
We also have two checks to present to the daily winners of the novelty shoot – 50% payback. Charles Smith of Alex City gets one check for $27.50 and I am not sure who the winner was yesterday. Jason Knight has that information and will be mailing a check in the next day or so.

I found his scorecard and then corrected the scores above and updated the spreadsheet that is used to determine SOYT winners. Thanks for bringing that to our attention. Sorry for any confusion.

I work in Montgomery and have flexible hours. I will be in the office tomorrow and could probably meet you in Wetumpka. I will take both items to work tomorrow and call you sometime tomorrow afternoon if I am going to be able to go to Wetumpka after work. Can then go home to Prattville by going across 14.

One or two recipients will receive a check in most classes. Open C had the most shooters and if I remember right, there will be 5 folks that receive a check. The payout is determined by the number of shooters in each class. Autuaga County was sent an excel spreadsheet by BHA to use as the official scoring process. The spreadsheet counted participants in each class and determined the payout. I believe there were a total of 37 individuals that will receive a check. Smallest check was $10.00 and the largest check was in the neighborhood of 65-70.

Best way to calculate it is up to 5 shooters pays 1 place, up to 10 pays 2 places, etc. Based on the number of shooters in each class.

I understand the process, it would just be nice to see the check winners. It might encourage others to shoot, and or to help decide which class would be the best pay out to shoot in. We are ASA and ASA post the payouts.

That is a question for one of the BHA officers. Autauga County was responsible for sending the spreadsheet to BHA for them to use in compiling results from other trail legs. I suspect that Charmen or Amanda will see this post and provide feedback.
