Again this year we are benefiting the Northport Lion’s Club as our charity shoot; Saturday and Sunday, April 1 & 2. The shoot will be a BHA shoot and will count for shooter of the year, etc. We will have twenty targets with a novelty shoot; door prizes and much more. Please come and support our local charity have fun in the process. Food will be provided by the Lion’s club and we will have some great door prizes. The fee will be $15.00 for a round and $ 5.00 for a fun or second round. The novelty shoot will be paid out at the end of the second day with 50% going to the winner. Check will be mailed to winner. Three shots for $5.00 and each score will earn you a ticket for the drawing on Sunday. We have purchased some new targets that I know will interest you. Pins will be awarded for winners in each class. Hope to see you at the shoot. Starting times will be 8:00 am and last shooter out at 3:00 pm for each day. First 10 targets will be unknown and last 10 known for those classes that apply. If you have questions please call Wayne Wilson at 205-242-1879.

Just spoke to the Northport Lions Club members last night and they will be looking for “Target Sponsors” for the shoot on April 1 & 2. These sponsors will donate to the club and many door prizes will be collected to give to many lucky shooters and guests (yes, you can buy more tickets at the shoot) The Lion Clubs provide eye exams, eye glasses, operations and many other services to people that cannot afford equipment to help them see, and services to the blind. PLEASE enjoy the archery weekend with us and help us help others!
The Northport Lions Club will also have food and drinks available and all concession proceeds will go to them….come hungry!

Lions are goin’ after it! Looks like we will have sponsors for all the targets! Door prizes will be plentiful. Gather up the friends and neighbors for this shoot and let’s have a great BHA turnout!

Lions are growlin’….Looks like most of the targets will have sponsors! Door prizes and a LION Novelty shoot will make if REALLY interesting.
Please help this shoot be a success for folks that need help with their eyesight.

Well gang here is the latest for this weekends shoot
The TCB/Northport Lions Shoot is THIS WEEKEND!!!! GREAT door prizes will be drawn on both days! The LION NOVELTY SHOOT should draw every shooter (Hit the Lion Dot and your name goes in the jar. A name will be drawn at the close of each day and the winners split the pot!
Food and drinks will be available, so buy some grub and help the Northport Lions Club help a LOT of folks!
Look to be a wonderful weekend with sunshine and spring temps.
TCB has some new targets, so come and put some holes in ‘um……………

Well gang, it was a beautiful weekend in Tuscaloosa for the Tuscaloosa County Bowhunters/Northport Lion Club shoot. Thanks for the turnout to support this great organization.
For you that missed it, you missed out on almost $500 worth of door prizes, T-shirts,a chance to take home the Lion Dot Novelty prize and some great hot dogs!
The scores and the door prizes will be posted ASAP. Those of you who won and are going to the Chilton County shoot next weekend can pick up your pins and door prizes there (great incentive to go to CHILTON COUNTY!!)
Our next TUSCALOOSA COUNTY BOWHUNTER shoot will be the last weekend of April (any unclaimed prizes will be there.)
