The Tuscaloosa gang is looking forward to our first shoot of the season in our Archery Park! We have replaced several target faces on the practice range due to the heavy shooting this past season (it’s GREAT to have new folks discovering the Park)!
Our range setup will be challenging and fun. Some uphill and downhill shots…and we will have the “Known Distance” class and the new “Extreme Bowhunter” class to shoot. Hopefully these classes will attract more ASA and bowhunters to our shoots as the word gets out.
This will be the first Tuscaloosa 3-D shoot before the ASA Hoyt Pro/Am in Tuscaloosa at the end of March, so come and practice with us and get “the lay of the land” and check out the ASA area while you are here.
Barbecue sandwiches and drinks will be available on Saturday at the range.
We are looking forward to many guests from our BHA Chapters and many new “first time shooters” to enjoy the weekend!

Our BBQ guy has another engagement on Sunday. We’ll have cold drinks, snacks and cookies at the range.
Want me to save you a BBQ sandwich, Mike?Wink
We will have a looooong distance novelty shoot with an orange dot…and a green dot in the middle. Closest to the green splits the pot. Hit the green (closest to the center) gets 75% of the pot! Be sure to bring your looooong dot sights!!Laugh

The Tuscaloosa Chapter is looking for a good turnout for our Central Zone shoot this weekend!
Looks like the weatherman is forecasting some showers, but shouldn’t dampen our archery spirit. All you ASA shooters can get a look at the new facilities while you are here and make reservations at motels, as well.
We plan on keeping 6-8 3-D targets up on our Archery Park range so shooters may practice before the ASA shoot at the end of the month. Bag targets will also be up around the walking trail.
Hope to see a BUNCH from the Central Zone this weekend as well as the Northern & Southern Zones that may want to shoot in Tuscaloosa.
See you Saturday & Sunday!Laugh

Thanks, Mike!!
Looks like a lot of BHA regular shooters in the Central Zone were afraid of rain today, but not a drop fell…and we had a good turnout of first-time shooters and faithful BHA 3-D shooters (Bless you all).
Tomorrows forecast calls for scattered showers. If it isn’t a flood that Noah was preparing for, we will be there at the archery park ready to welcome shooters.
Hope to see you tomorrow!
