We are hosting our annual “Shootout Cancer” 3D tournament at the Covington County Bowhunters archery range located just off of U.S. Highway 84 on Zachinni Road. The entry fee again this year is $20 and we will be shooting 25 targets. There may even be a 26th target hidden away somewhere along the trail as a “mulligan” for a chance to make up for a bad shot. Shoot times are 8am until 3pm on Saturday and 8am until 1pm on Sunday. You must be started on the range by 1pm on Sunday. We will have a lot of good door prizes again this year and we hope that everyone will come out and shoot with us this weekend. We will be at the range on Friday afternoon at 3pm if anyone wants to shoot on Friday afternoon that can’t make it on Saturday or Sunday. If you are interested in shooting on Friday afternoon just give me a call or send a text to 334-504-8624 and I will make sure that I am there at 3pm for you to shoot. Just had a call asking about the Southern Zone SOY points. The scorecards for this weekends shoot will be numbered 1-20 on the front. This total will be your Southern Zone SOY points as they are based on 20 target scores. The back of the card will be 21-25 and the grand total will be for the Cancer Shoot scores. If you are competing for the Southern Zone SOY buckles please let us know at time of registration. THANKS!!!

Thanks to everyone that came out to shoot with us so far this weekend! We are watching the weather closely and hopefully we will be able to shoot tomorrow after the bad weather moves through tonight. For those that are driving to the shoot tomorrow, please drive safely and we will have some good food ready for you when you get here. Thanks!
