Can’t wait till rubber deer season comes back in. To bad we can’t have a year round hunt but then I’m not sure when rut is. I have never seen our bucks chasing does, just archers chasing arrows.

Don’t know about the rut either, but I do remember hearing lots of “rutrow” after a shot.

Well, i figure everyone is out in the woods, since this is a bowhunting organization, not a tournament shooting organization. Wonder how many replies that will stir up

Enjoy the cooler weather and the hunting season while it is here. Holidays are just around the corner and the cold days of January will be here soon. Then another hunting season will have ended all too soon. Another 3D season will arrive sooner than you think and it will be time to tune up for the hot days of summer. I for one am looking forward to a great 3D season. ASA is going to host three Pro/Am tournaments in Alabama next year and with the new local formats I think that the 3D season will be a lot of fun. Good luck to everyone during the hunting season and always remember; safety first! We want you to be around for the 3D season next year.

As most of our members in the southern zone know, we lost our range due to the land owners selling the property. White Oak Archery has also been moved to a new location in Andalusia. It will be located in the shopping center on the bypass in Andalusia next to “Beef O’Brady’s” trstaurant. It will feature a 40 yard indoor range and we will have an outdoor range located nearby for our 3D shoots. As things get finalized over the next few weeks, I will get more details posted. Thanks!
