I was wondering at what age do you have to be to shoot in a class that has a money payout?

We are following ASA payouts so the classes that ASA pays we will pay if the class has enough shooters to make it eligible for payout. Money classes must have at least 4 shooters to make it payout eligible. Some classes do not have age restrictions:

Such as Men’s Fixed Pin Classes

Unlimited – See “Fixed Pin Class” rules 45 yards, 290 FPS, Unknown

Hunter (+) – See “Fixed Pin Class” rules. 40 yards, 280 FPS, Both

Bow Novice – See “Fixed Pin Class” rules.” 30 yards, 280 FPS, Known

Bow Novice is reserved for participants who are new to BHA competition, or that won less than $300.00 in prize money in this class in their most recent year of BHA competition. At any point during the season that a competitor in this class earns more than $300.00 they are required to compete in a higher class.

Then you have Young Adult and Youth Classes that do have age/grade restrictions:

Young Adult and Youth Classes:

*Age Rules – Young Adult, Youth and all Eagle classes are based on their age as of March 1st of the competition year. All youth pin classes are based on the competitor’s grade in school as of March 1st of the year.
