At the IBO triple crown shoot in Bedford, Indiana,we stayed at the Holiday Inn Express. While there I had the oppurtunity to talk with Allen Conner as I was shooting at my morrell practice bag behind the Holiday Inn Express parking lot. Allen,Justin Martin,Lynn Morrison and Jackie Caudle were walking outside practicing judging yardage and borrowed my range finder to see how well they were doing. Let me say that those guys from Alabama can sure judge yardage pretty well. Anyway, I was talking with Allen about his move to New Breed Archery and I was impressed with the direction they are taking their bows and equipment. Allen speaks highly of everyone at the New Breed Archery organization and I think that they are going to do well with their products. Of course I was fortunate to get to talk to these pro shooters from Alabama for a few minutes and I enjoyed their fellowship and I was not under any pressure whatsoever shooting while they watched me! That’s my story and I’m sticking to it! I did manage to keep the arrows in the bag and not miss while they were watching me though. I remember the days of the “Alabama Gang” in NASCAR and now it looks like we have an “Alabama Gang” in archery as well. I noticed on the scores from the Bedford,Indiana shoot that all four of them shot really well.Congratulations to Allen on his win in the senior pro division and Lynn’s third place finish as well.

Thanks for the post, Danny.
Congrats to all the Bama shooters! You guys make us proud…and to ALL the BHA and Alabama folks that represent us at these shoots.
To New Breed Archery…We all are glad you make Alabama your home and are doing so well with your product, your wins and your support of Bowhunters of Alabama, Inc.!!
Alabama is becoming an archery hub!! I understand that Tuscaloosa will host the ASA shoot for 2014. The future looks bright for archery, bowhunting and BHA!!
