Old Bulletbob here I have been shooting for quit a while now and have seen it all. Line pulling, shot out holes between arrow and scoring ring, And just plain old close.
But none are a higher score unless the TOUCH the scoring ring. One of the hardest days I ever had on a range was the State shoot 2 years ago. I was a range caption, with a group of Juniors, And 2 of those kids should be Pros by now. But I told everyone before we started , I will not give points nor will I take any. ” It is what it is”.
One of those 2 boys had at least 8-10 skillet lickers during that shoot, and I suffered through every call. And he lost by 1 or 2 points. At the banquet that night he came to me and said that was the fairest shoot he had ever been in. Its all in honesty, either you got it or you don’t.
