Well, My wife and I got up at 4:30 this morning and drove to Red Level and picked up our good friend John and drove the three hours to Oak Mountain State Park for the 3D tournament hosted by Shelby County Bowhunters. I have to say that it was worth it! The range was challenging for me and we all had a great time. My wife hadn’t competed in a 3D shoot in almost 5 years but came along and she did very well for having been out of the sport for so long. You could tell that the club had put a lot of hard work into the range and having to deal with the heavy rain on Friday, did an amazing job! Thanks to all of the Shelby County folks that went all out to host such a great shoot. I appreciate your hard work and dedication to BHA and our sport! Hope to see everyone at the next shoot!
I hope that everyone has a safe and good Memorial Day tomorrow.
