I shot in Monroe County Saturday, and they had several targets that were positioned off of steep slopes. These really kicked my butt as for as judging distance. I have about a six inch drop between 20 and 25 yards. I had trouble judging the distance on this type of terrain. I know that this is nothing compared to more hilly places, but can anyone give me some advice. Thanks!

One thing that helps me is if you have tall trees close to the target, judge the trees at eye level. It always looms farther away shooting down a hill. It don’t work to well if you are shooting down hills thru tight lanes that are grown up.

Thank you. As for now, I am just trying my best to DRILL what 20 yards looks like in my head. We’ll see Saturday if it pays off. Going back to Monroe. : )
