Ok so I was reading over the ASA rules for the 3D shoots. I’m unsure which class my daughter should shoot after reading the “fixed pin class” section. My daughter is 11 so she would fit in both the middle school class (fixed pins) and the senior eagle class (moveable sights). If she has a fixed single pin that’s adjustable which class would she shoot? We are new to BHA so unsure how all this 3D tournament stuff works. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

Is her sight a movable sight such that she would move it to the correct distance each shot or a fixed pin that is adjustable like all fixed sights where she has fixed pins and will not adjust it at all during the round?

Right now she has fixed pin sights with 5 pins but we were looking into getting her the single pin that you move to the correct distance each shot.

If she stays with the fixed pins, she’d shoot middle school pins, moveable sights, senior eagles. Middle school pins has a 30 yd max, senior eagles has a 25 max. MSP – ALL KNOWN. SE – 1/2 & 1/2. MSP – 240fps. SE – 230fps. Hope this helps!
