Hey guys,
A friend of mine just bought a takedown longbow at the pre spring arrow fling. It came assembled, but after we got it to his house we tried to take it apart.
The allens on the limbs came out fine, but the limbs wouldn’t detach from the riser. There appear to be pads of some sort between the riser and limbs. I’m wondering if maybe it’s just been assembled for a long time and maybe it’s become sticky?
There’s no brand on it. Supposedly, I think it was supposed to be made by a custom bowyer.
Any suggestions anyone may have would be appreciated, as I have virtually no experience with takedowns.
