Just want to point out that BHA has a Facebook page and Twitter page. You can go to the BHA Home page and click on the FB & Twitter symbols to get access. As far as Facebook we had 93 fans 9 months ago and now we have 496. Would love for it to be over 500 by the Board Meeting.
So why is facebook important? Great question!!!
Answer: about all of our sponsors and vendors have Facebook pages in attempt to market themselves and gain revenue. It is basically no cost to them and is a very valuable tool in supporting not only their current clients but a huge factor in gaining new clients. At zero cost. So, what does that have to do with BHA…Well, we also use Facebook for the same reason…it is a great communication tool to existing members but we have obtained a LOT of new fans and many of those fans to directly to our website and joined BHA. Thus..FB generates money with no cost involved.
The second HUGE reason it is important to BHA is that we can support our sponsors by reposting their important posts of promotions and news on our thus sending thier news and promotions to our membership/fans. We are helping them building clients….with no cost tous. This will be part of the Sponsorship Packages…They also see us supporting us on a continual basis and it will help build our relationship with them and also help to remain a sponsor for the future years not just one year only deal….
Like I said, we currently have 496 fans but I would love to have about 2,000+ fans by the December 31st. Why, when the sponsor sees that you can send his message and promotions to a high number of people then the enticement to give us money to support BHA goes up. Just think about it…If I was a sponsor and BHA only had 25 fnas on facebook I will know that you are not worth giving money because I would not get return on investment. But if you had 5,000 bowhunting/3D archery fans that would make a ton of difference. The possibility of getting a great return on sponsorship investment would be very huge. Plus…we will be recruiting from a very large membership base.
