I had a friend ask me a question, Why is it against the Law to Turkey with a crossbow?
I did not have an answer so I am asking all of you for the answer!

We have been trying to get this passed at the CAB meetings for several years with no luck. I can’t give you an exact reason behind the CAB not making this recommendation to allow turkey hunting with crossbows. I know that we will stay diligent in our quest to get this passed but it will be a long process. If I need to go into more details on this, please feel free to give me a call.

Some members of the CAB do not believe a crossbow is an effective humane method to harvest a turkey.
