Round Table Brainstorming Session ?

Just a thought. I realize we are all busy but would it be helpful to have a brainstorming session at some point(s) during the year to discuss issues, direction, planning, etc.? This would not be like a board meeting where motions are presented, Items are voted on, etc. It is simply a chance to address issues and opportunities for BHA. Make sure we are on the same page, Maybe tie down some commitments form people for items such as Instructional videos, T-shirt designs, Explore Bowhunting etc.

If we are going to grow it is imperative that we promote ourselves, take initiative, basically get off our ass and get busy. I thought we created some committees within the last year. What is going on with that?

Maybe this meeting would foster some creativity for more ideas that would benefit BHA. Ideas such as Mark’s idea for the grand slam and super slam.

Worth pursuing or not?

I’m in…..I think it is imperative…

There are items that can instantly be done and make a huge difference and there are items that will have a huge impact but will take a year or two for it to become a reality but we have to start now. There is plenty of areas….I can’t wait to include all the new stuff BHA will be offering in the website. Personally, I think Bowhunter Education for adults AND youth should be at a high priority in order to make sure BHA lives up to its mission and perpetuate……tons more stuff though….tons…..everything we do will help make BHA better…..I think our 3D program is at a crossroads that will also have a huge impact on BHA growth. Lots of great discussion on forum with that…great stuff….we see that technology in bow making is impacting our rules and regulations and limitations. There are so many different thoughts on that alone…..need BIG committee for that one…lol…Ok….simply my answer is yes.

Just for your info, I use Mindmapping to brainstorm with…It is the ONLY way to truly brainstorm…I have been using it professionally for 20+ years. It not only organizes brainstorming but stimulates thinking and is a huge asset in a big group… I also use it to write articles with, build websites with, plan events with, etc…..it is visual thinking if you are wondering what it is. but again….lol the answer is yes.
