If something really interesting happens and no one reads it or posts it on this BHA website………..does it REALLY happen??????????????????????????Confused

THIS IS THE TIME, during our “off-season of 3-D shooting”, when we have plenty of “thinking time” sitting in our blind or treestand…we NEED to have ideas posted (when we return from the woods).

Where are our officers? Have they taken a vacation like the Democrats did in the Senate? We all know what happens when everyone shuts down, does not review ideas or suggestions…………..don’t we?

If our officers, directors and Chapter members go into “hibernation” for the next four months…….we will not show progress or growth!!!!!!!!

To All….I moved this post to the BHA Business section because it talks about BHA Officers, Directors, and Chapter Presidents….Please post ALL posts regarding BHA business activities in this section only….The General Section, in which this post was originally posted is seen by all Guests as well as members. Remember…the General Section and the 3D Tournament section is viewed by Guests as well as members.

I know there are a lot of sections but please attempt to post your message in the appropriate section so that current and new members can easily research particular topics that they are interested in.

Thanks for your compliance and postings!!!

Also…..Hunting season starts in couple of weeks…..please post your harvests on this forum no matter what it is. If you shoot a rabbit…post it…just post and tell a little about your experience…share with everyone your efforts.

BHA Webmaster

aeroforce100- Not running for another office. I was BHA Editor for 11 years and now I am a concerned member that realizes that we (all of us) need to be more involved with ideas and planning if we are to realize the potential for BHA.

As I have said, over the years…this website is our NEWSLETTER, our COMMUNICATION vehicle and our LINK to the BHA membership. Until our officers and members realize this it will be a “wink in the dark” and be useless. It is up to us, the USERS of this site, to communicate the need for our other members to USE it.

Our president should check this site daily…and POST, as well as our vice president, our editor, our secretary (and she DOES!), our Chapter officers and ALL members that are really interested in the progress of BHA.

Why am I the largest “poster” on this website? Shouldn’t it be one of our officers? Our Editor…with news?
The 3-D season is over, but….archery season is almost here…..shouldn’t this site be buzzin’?????????????????Wink

What good does it do any way? I have submitted requests to the powers that be and all I was told was, I’ll look into it!
If I am really, really, really bored, I check this site.
No one cares or wants to do their part, anymore.

I’ve talked to folks in sporting goods stores down this way, and they have nothing good to say about our orgazation. SAD!

Johnny, I really want to find fault in your comments; that is to say, if every word weren’t true! Regarding what folks are saying in sporting goods stores about BHA, I’m not really surprised by that either. Up this way, I dare say, the vast majority of pro shops, sporting goods stores, etc., have never even heard of us! A little while back, I called one of OUR SPONSORS regarding an item I was interested in buying, to see if by chance they had one in stock. While I had the gentleman on the phone, I thought it appropriate to express BHA’s gratitude for everything they do in helping us! To my shock, the gentleman replied, “…..now, you’re with who????”

Maybe it’s the economy….who knows! Personally (and this is just my opinion), I think it’s a complete and total apathy for anyone & everyone except the individual themselves! We live in the “Pepsi Generation”, where no one cares for anyone but themselves, and anytime it requires an effort, i.e., working, helping, personal sacrifice, whether it be burning a little gas, nursing a few sore muscles, or whatever, you can forget it!

However, in an attempt to “take the high road”, I’m really thankful for the faithful few that persevere, and are passionate about what we do, and what we stand for! I know it’s quiet on this site during the non-tournament season! But, I’m hoping that’s because the very few real bowhunters that we have are busting their humps trying to put meat in the freezer! Then, I’m sure there are those that have more of a “life” in a “real world”, than one sitting and vegetating here in the “cyber-world”!

Folks, it is what it is! Like it or not, even though 3D was not what BHA was founded on, it has evolved (or “digressed”, just depends on who’s speaking) into primarily a 3D organization. When 3D season opens back up, we’ll return to a hustling, bustling website once again.

Kevin, u r so right.
How many clubs meet and talk about their hunts during hunting season? The ones I have ask about say never.
How many clubs meet and talk about shoots during 3d season ? All do. Some every month.
We are a tournament organization, that also hunts, and that is ok.
As for Larry being the top poster on the web site,
well if u know Larry……………HAHAHA
