I haven’t checked the hunting regs lately but in the past Blaze orange camo was not to be used as a substitute for a solid blaze orange cap or vest.
Does anyone know why DNR or whoever decided that blaze orange camo was a bad idea for us hunters?
I am just wanting to know why orange camo is bad.
I guess that I can use orange camo as long as I use a solid orange cap.
I probably would never use orange camo because it just doesn’t look right to me.

My guess about the orgin of the rule is that some one would make orange camo or call it orange camo when 99% of the camo was green, black, brown, gray, with only 1% of the camo being orange.
But like you guys, I have never heard and explanation why blaze orange camo is not a substitute for solid blaze orange.
