For those that remember when MCAA had the archery & BBQ fundraiser for 5-year old Sadie Long. She had advanced cancer, Leukemia and the meds she was taking caused her congestive heart failure. I’ve kept up with her over the last few years. She is cancer free and and her heart has gone from the low 30% to now over 50%. Over 50% means that she won’t have to have a heart transplant. She is living a healthy and happy childhood again. Thanks again for all those that gave support. Her father & I went to school together and I couldn’t be happier for them. I been so happy I just wanted to share this with everyone.

Great news! Sick kids choke me up. I am sure she will continue to get better. Great example of the good BHA does for the community.
