Hey guys … looking forward to my first season hunting Oak Mountain. I’ve scouted for a couple of weeks and found some pretty decent looking areas. I was wondering, for those of you that have hunted OM in the past, how to figure out just where in a particular zone another bowhunter might be. I remember at the meeting that we are supposed to park on the side of the road for the zone in which we are hunting. But after looking around, there are some spots where a guy can walk in from a couple different roads. The last thing I want to do is walk in on someone and mess up their chances.
Thanks!

There is an application and an interview process followed by a proficiency test. I believe this years candidates have already been chosen if I am not mistaken. :)

Get Serious. Get Hoyt.

Bear Lady is correct. Please look under the Programs Tab and check out the UDCP drop down. This year is closed but there is always next year. Mark

Thanks for the info. I went this morning and saw what you are talking about. It was a good morning, by the way … saw six doe/yearlings … just a bit out of range. Plus a coyote that came right under my tree. Was tough to let him pass!
