New member here, my name is John and I went up and shot in the Bow-Up Against Cancer shoot and got hooked. That was my first 3D archery course to shoot and it was very enjoyable. I am 35 and have been hunting all my life, the past few years I have gotten more involved in bow hunting so much so I haven’t picked up my rifle in the past 3-4 seasons. Anyway, looking forward to getting more involved into 3D shooting. Is the calendar on the website the best place to learn of upcoming shoots? I saw where BHA is having a BOWMANIA shoot at the expo, do you just bring your bow to the civic center and shoot? Also, does anyone know if the Oak Mnt State Park range is open, I thought I heard they were remodeling or something? Anyway sorry for all the questions, looking forward to getting involved and meeting some BHA members.

John…So glad you have discovered BHA 3-D!
BOWMANIA! is BHA’s largest and oldest 3-D archery event at the BJCC. Bring your bow and arrows and join in shooting all 3 days. You can shoot as much as you like and you can improve your score. Pay at the door and have a great time with BHA friends and meet new ones!
The Oak Mountain Archery Park is still in the organization stage.
The BHA Calendar is the best place to see upcoming events and all BHA shoots are posted. Scores are posted the next week on this site.
