Hello everyone. My name is Jack. I’ve been bowhunting for the past 2 seasons but have never shot 3D. After spectating at the big ASA shoot in Cullman last year I decided I needed to join and see what it was about. I look forward to the season and plan to make as many shoots in the Central Zone as possible. I look forward to meeting everyone this upcoming season. Any advice or recommendations will be much appreciated.

i manage to live long enough to make it to60 by july 26th i will be 61, and still limpingi have left my cane at home several times my wife asked why, i said cause i don’t need it, but she bought me a walker, that has a chair so i can sitdown, it hurts me to stand around, so when i go to backwater i hit the couch, it makes her mad when i doi have been tested i can stand for 20minutes, but the pain, of doing nothing makes me mad.

Thank you. Unfortunately, I did not get to meet everyone but I look forward to it. I’m going to make the Chilton County shoot in February my first, so hopefully I will see everyone there. Is there a limit on bowspeed for Bowhunter B Class? If so, who could I get to chrono my setup?
Jack – Welcome to the Familythere is a bunch of folks, in this organation i have never met, not sure when i will, you can and will learn a lot here, i am not sure how they are going to slow the bows down, since the industry keeps speeding them up, speed sells.my little some call a beginner bow ibo 310fps, as it is the present speed limit was 280 feet per second.the only way i got my alpine to shoot that slow was heavy arrows, and point.some have told me that mine will not shoot the 280limit.i don’t have a chrony, and have not shot through one, yet.as my flight surgeon used to say it will be alright.

i do know the deer can not tell the difference in speed, if your bow is quick enough they won’t jump the string.my alpine i used to say hey to the deer and laugh as they could not get out of the way of the arrow quick enough,so for shooting real live deer expect them to drop a little to the noise of the release. aim low and you will be perfect. they run into the arrow.
