weird deer

I just spotted a deer in the field behind my house that had black hind quarters , black skull cap and ears. It’s tail was edged by a black ring also. It was a small buck. That’s a first for me.

That deer sounds like the black tail deer you see in the western areas but how would a black tail make it to Alabama, I have see several white spotted deer, I kill one in Bullock county that looked like a Appaloosa with the spots all on the hide quarters.

Cool. If I shoot one like that, I’d have to get a full body mount or at least get all the areas the markings were prominent.
